Laing O’Rourke on behalf of Transport for NSW awarded Brefni the project to construct the new bus Interchange at Penrith Station. The project was part of the $90m Transport Access Program which was a NSW Government initiative involving transport facility upgrades throughout NSW. The Public as a result of the project can access the station via new lifts to the station platforms and concourse.

- shelters for weather protection for customers
- kiss and ride and taxi rank
- landscaping
- paving
- in ground services installation
- lighting and CCTV
- extension of the south-western commuter car park
