Penrith Station – Easy Access Station Upgrade

Laing O’Rourke on behalf of Transport for NSW awarded Brefni the project to construct the new bus Interchange at Penrith Station. The project was part the $90m Transport Access Program which was a NSW Government initiative involving transport facility upgrades throughout NSW.

Laing O’Rourke on behalf of Transport for NSW awarded Brefni the project to construct the new bus Interchange at Penrith Station. The project was part of the $90m Transport Access Program which was a NSW Government initiative involving transport facility upgrades throughout NSW. The Public as a result of the project can access the station via new lifts to the station platforms and concourse.

  • reconfiguration of the southern transport interchange
  • an upgraded bus interchange and set-down area
  • pick-up and layover spaces for buses
  • shelters for weather protection for customers
  • kiss and ride and taxi rank
  • landscaping
  • paving
  • in ground services installation
  • lighting and CCTV
  • extension of the south-western commuter car park
