Penrith Station – Easy Access Station Upgrade

Laing O’Rourke on behalf of Transport for NSW awarded Brefni the project to construct the new bus Interchange at Penrith Station. The project was part the $90m Transport Access Program which was a NSW Government initiative involving transport facility upgrades throughout NSW.

The project was part of the $90m Transport Access Program which was a NSW Government initiative involving transport facility upgrades throughout NSW. The Public as a result of the project can access the station via new lifts to the station platforms and concourse.

reconfiguration of the southern transport interchange
an upgraded bus interchange and set-down area
pick-up and layover spaces for buses
shelters for weather protection for customers
kiss and ride and taxi rank
landscaping
paving
in ground services installation
lighting and CCTV
extension of the south-western commuter car park
