Complex civil foundations in live, highly controlled industrial environment
- Critical State Infrastructure Project delivering a modernised and upgraded Blast Furnace facility to ensure a continuation of sovereign manufacturing capability of steelmaking in Australia, primarily supplying steel to the domestic market for vital infrastructure, building and construction, renewables and Defence projects
- Complex civil foundations, earthworks, temporary works and reinforced concrete structures delivered within a live, highly controlled industrial environment with strict isolation and access protocols
- Staged construction of major reinforced concrete elements: TRT sump, table-top foundations, columns, and inlet foundations to tight design tolerances
- Precision excavation around existing piles, temporary bracing, dewatering and monolithic concrete pours as key delivery elements
- Full pre-construction planning suite: Construction, Environmental, Quality and WHS Management Plans, baseline program, temporary works designs
- Seamless coordination across multiple stakeholders including BlueScope operational, engineering and safety teams throughout an 18-month live plant environment
