Location: Bullatale Creek corridor, between Tocumwal and Deniliquin, NSW

Yanco Creek Modernisation Project – replacing seven creek crossings across a remote Murray-Darling corridor

• Construction of seven new bridge structures across the Bullatale Creek corridor between Tocumwal and Deniliquin – six triple span and one double span, as part of the Mid-Murray Anabranches Project
• Improving connectivity between the Murray River, its main anabranch, the Edward-Kolety river system, and other surrounding creeks as part of the Sustainable Diversion Limit Adjustment Mechanism (SDLAM) program being delivered by the NSW Government
• Complex multi-site delivery in a remote, low-lying environment -temporary piling platforms with water flow pipe systems, integrated crane pads, and flood risk management for events up to once-in-20-year frequency
• Rigorous environmental management across an ecologically sensitive agricultural corridor -flora, fauna and fish passage protection, weed and seed protocols, livestock management, and construction water sourcing
• Strong Aboriginal engagement commitment in First Nations participation, cultural heritage monitoring at two sites with identified Aboriginal heritage mounds, and engagement with Aboriginal Land Councils
