Brefni was contracted to carry out the civil works on the 55Mega Watt solar farm, located west of Orange, NSW.

Civil works included design and construction of the following:

• RMS intersection adjustments
• Provision of site amenities and offices
• Strip and reinstate topsoil (500,000m2)
• Cut & Fill operations (100,000m3)
• Design and construct a combined 15kms of heavy vehicle dual and single roads
• Construct 15kms of cable route including trenching and backfilling, laying, terminating and testing of cables
• Excavate, form, reo and pour foundations for associated electrical equipment
