Brefni was contracted to carry out the civil works on the 175MW solar farm, located on 1000 acres of land in the NSW Riverina district.

Civil works included design and construction of the following;

• Local council road upgrades to allow truck access to the project
• Tree and vegetation clearing
• Earthworks cut to fill operation
• Foundation improvement due to poor ground conditions
• Lay down area
• Logistics support to client
• Construct channel crossings over Murray Irrigation canals
• 15kms of access road construction on site
• 10kms of fire barrier accessible zone
• Extensive landscaping and overland waterflow management
• Ongoing support during electrical and mechanical works
