Our administration staff keep all Brefni operations running efficiently. The maintenance of all Brefni plant and equipment is handled by experienced mechanics and technicians. Tom’s sound knowledge of the construction process, strong project management acumen and proven track record in project delivery are the fundamental building blocks enabling Brefni to grow into the company you see today. Tom brings over 30 years of professional experience to the industry encompassing large scale civil, commercial, residential and high-rise construction projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Economics – B. Sc (Hons).

Robert was appointed as CEO in July 2021.

Robert has over 20 years’ experience in leading and delivering some of the most challenging and demanding infrastructure projects around Australia, Canada, and the Middle East. These projects include water treatment plants, heavy and light rail projects, power stations, high voltage transmission lines, substations, marine facilities, and roads and bridges. His deep technical insight and broad experience across a range of sectors empowers him as an effective leader able to build business capability via the recruitment, development, and retention of talented professionals.

A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the accounting profession and private industry. Rob joined Brefni in 2015 and has been responsible for developing company strategy, introducing robust reporting and risk management processes and implementing corporate governance during a period of considerable company growth.

Robert has extensive experience of investment analysis and M&A transactions together with operational experience in Australia, Europe and the US.

Ged has over 30 years’ experience within the rail and road industry, covering engineering, maintenance, and various aspects of construction.
Ged is a strategic operational leader with demonstrated experience in driving performance. He has knowledge in organisational development and mentoring, and supports businesses achieve their full potential by strengthening their market presence.

He has a proven track record in delivering value, in asset management and asset replacement life cycles

Luke has over 15 years’ experience within the Rail Industry and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) and Master of Engineering Management.

Luke has successfully managed and delivered over 200 civil and rail infrastructure projects and has worked collaboratively with our clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a quality which exceeds expectations. Luke brings his engineering and industry experience to the Pre-contracts team as a Manager, to add innovative ideas to all opportunities that come Brefni’s way and to offer value for money and early project delivery for our clients.

Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience as an HSEQ professional. Rebecca started her career as a solicitor, specialising in safety law; however, over the last 10 years, she has worked as an HSEQ leader in the rail, mining and construction industries.

Her down to earth and pragmatic approach has allowed her to successfully work at all levels of organisations from Board members and senior executives to field workers and contractors.

Glenn holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and brings to Brefni a wealth of construction and management experience in the Civil industry. Glenn has strong knowledge in project, construction and contract management, project delivery, cost planning and estimating, financial management, dispute resolution, industrial relations and people management.

Glenn is a life member of the CCF. Glenn has held the positions of National Board member, National President and NSW President.
