Achieving Greatness
Awards
Reflecting on our incredible journey, we are thrilled to look back at our recognition at the CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW 2024 Earth Awards. Winning the award for ‘Excellence in Civil Construction’ was a proud moment for our team, and a testament to their hard work.
Thank you to CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW for hosting a wonderful event that celebrated the industry’s finest achievements.
We are also grateful to our partners at Sydney Trains, our suppliers, subcontractors, and the community who were pivotal in the successful delivery of the St James Maintenance Shaft Project – a complex, heritage infrastructure project in one of Sydney’s busiest locations. Our goal was to “Keep Sydney Flowing,” and thanks to the collaborative efforts of everyone involved, we achieved it.
Congratulations to our fellow finalists and winners in other categories at the CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW Earth Awards. We’re excited to carry this momentum forward as we look ahead to the CCF National Awards.
On 3 November, the Brefni team went along to support two of our 2023 CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW People Award Finalists, at the CCF People Awards Presidents Gala Ball.
Brefni had two employees nominated for a People Award under the category of Performance Excellence – Stefan Sadecki for Site Supervisor of the Year; and Ailish O Shea for Administration Support in Civil Construction.
The Awards represent an opportunity for CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW Members to showcase the amazing calibre of people within their organisations, and we congratulate both Stefan and Ailish who were finalists in their respective fields.
We are incredibly proud to announce that Stefan WON the Site Supervisor of the Year Award (announcement from CCF NSW below), specifically for his work on the Sydney Harbour Bridge Deck Upgrade project. We would also like to acknowledge the Brefni and Sydney Trains teams that have worked collaboratively on this project, specifically Gregory Laverack, Ronald Ip and Thambiaiah Jeevarajah.
We thank CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW for hosting an incredible night, the event sponsors and all of the judges, who generously gave their time to determine the winners.
