Brefni was contracted to carry out the civil works on the 55Mega Watt solar farm, located west of Orange, NSW.
Civil works included design and construction of the following;
RMS intersection adjustments
Provision of site amenities and offices
Strip and reinstate topsoil (500,000m2)
Cut & Fill operations (100,000m3)
Design and construct a combined 15kms of heavy vehicle dual and single roads
Construct 15kms of cable route including trenching and backfilling, laying, terminating and testing of cables
Excavate, form, reo and pour foundations for associated electrical equipment
